TALLEY

David Joseph “Redeye” Talley, 55, a life-long resident of Lee Road and Bush, passed away Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 35 years, Anong Talley, and their two children, James and Nunda Talley. He was the grandfather of Caitlyn and Justin Talley; son of Mary Helen Talley and Russel Talley Sr.; brother of Russel Talley Jr., Mary Talley, Wesley Talley Sr. and Andrew Talley.

He was known to his friends as “Redeye,” David was a lifelong trucker and a devoted employee of David Huval Trucking. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. David’s contagious smile and love of life will truly be missed by all who knew him.

TALLEY

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation from 2:30-6 p.m. tomorrow at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington. Sheriff and Slidell police on the hunt for armed robber

The armed robber, who is suspected of two armed robberies last week on Brownswitch Road and Robert Boulevard in Slidell, is also suspected for the robbery of the Blockbuster Video store at the corner of Gause Boulevard and Military Road Wednesday afternoon.
