Fontainebleau senior pitcher Logan Peterson, making his first start since tossing a perfect game against East St. John March 2, combined with reliever Anthony La Guardia to post a no-hitter Tuesday night. The Dawgs posted an 8-0 road victory over Northlake Christian School, the defending Class 1A baseball champions.

Hannan downs St. Helena Central

Archbishop Hannan’s Hawks baseball defeated St. Helena Central 9-2 Thursday to improve to 5-1 at press time. St. Helena jumped on top with two runs in the top of the first, but Hannan responded with three runs in the home half aided by three St. Helena errors along with hits by Ben Condon and Joey LaRocca. Hannan erupted for five runs in the second inning on hits by Logan Booksh, Andrew Arceneaux and Condon along with a run producing sacrifice fly by Stuart Seiler.
